A modest house stands at the centre of its vast wooded grounds embracing the Lauve, a deceptively calm river that regularly floods the area. The challenges of this project are manifold: to redefine a coherent scale by creating an extension that will give a new relationship with the near and distant environment, to create new uses, whether for work or for living, and to redesign flows and spatialities.
